HELPING OUR COMMUNITY
FUND RAISING CONTRIBUTIONS
At our monthly luncheons we sell raffle tickets, designated as our Pot of Gold, to support our efforts to raise funds for our annual donation to a local charitable organization. Private donations we receive are a part of our charitable funds.
2025/2026 Recipient (s)
MRWA proudly donated $7,000 to Scottsdale Community Partners at our April 2026 luncheon from charitable funds raised during fiscal year 2025/2026. SCP provides essential services to Youth, Families and Seniors within the Scottsdale Community. MRWA members volunteer their time to package donated food items for distribution in support of SCP programs for children, “Healthy Packs”, that provide food for children to cover weekend days when they are not in school and a program, “Beat the Heat”, for homebound seniors in the hot summer months.
FEBRUARY FUNDRAISER
Each year MRWA holds a fundraising event for members and guests. Held at the final luncheon of each year. The auction is a very popular and fun event.

MONTHLY LADIES LUNCHEON
The Thursday Bridge Group was formed in 2015. To begin there were 12 layers and a leader, Linda McAdoo. Currently the game is played with six tables of 24 ladies at Orange Tree Golf Club on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays. The group maintains its legacy of growth and long nurtured friendships.

Held the third Thursday of each month. Venue is either a golf club, Country Club or Resort. Included in the luncheon is a choice between 2 entrees, a raffle and entertainment.
Bunco
MONTHLY LADIES LUNCHEON
Plays the first Tuesday of every month, with Twelve regular players and four substitutes.
ANNUAL TEA/COFFEE
Held in March or April of each year. A shared potluck or gathering of friendship.
